kern/82682: "Accounting resumed" while disk fills up
For log-structured file systems, disk-full is a *very* tricky situation to handle. Even for more conventional ones such as traditional Unix implementations, the system depends upon (and reserves) some free space to work with when normal free space gets tight, and advises that this situation should be avoided.

Unallocated Space anomaly
I use EasyCleaner 2.0 and when attempting to delete "unecessary" files, there is one file that is 2.5G in size (I wondered where that 2G of disk space was tied up) that In my case, with the Sony, I need to re-partition to retrieve the space and simply can't be bothered while I still have plenty other free space

Disk is now showing 148gb ! Better but still not all the way there. Confusingly, explorer reports capacity to be 148gb, free space to be 148gb, abd used space to be 12gb. Would be grateful for any further input. Do you feel that it is safe to start using a disk that isn't correctly formatted to its true capacity.
